Noire will be downloadable on the eShop, taking up 29 GB of space and costing $39.99-on the other hand, the physical edition will require a 14-GB download and will cost an extra $10 compared to the eShop version and PS4/Xbox One ports, presumably due to the cost of manufacturing the Switch’s proprietary game card. Interestingly enough, this trailer reveals that the controversial and nebulous “Truth/Doubt/Lie” choices will be changed to “Good Cop/Bad Cop/Accuse,” a change that carries to all versions of this re-release (per Kotaku).
The trailer shows off the ability to interact with evidence, and touchscreen-friendly menus allow the player to decide how to interrogate suspects as Detective Cole Phelps. But besides the ability to play the game in portable mode, the Switch version also takes advantage of the hardware’s touchscreen.
The visuals and uncannily realistic facial animations look up to par with what we remember from the detective videogame’s original release.
